A leading FinTech company that develops and operates major payment services as part of a larger technology group. The product development division manages the entire service lifecycle, from planning and design to coding and operation, for large-scale systems that are crucial to social infrastructure.

 

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

  • As a Database Administrator, you will be a key player in optimizing our database systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
  • Your main responsibilities will include the design and operation of MySQL and MariaDB databases, managing data replication with GoldenGate, performance monitoring and tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • You will also collaborate with our development and operations teams in India and manage databases in both private and public cloud environments.

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

・Over 3 years of practical experience in database administration.

・Hands-on experience and knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB.

・Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.

・Strong communication and teamwork skills.

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

・Knowledge or experience with Oracle GoldenGate.

・Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).

・Experience with database automation tools and scripting (Python, Shell).

・Experience using monitoring tools like Zabbix or Grafana.

・Experience improving database operations using AI.

・Leadership experience or potential.

・Experience or knowledge of the FinTech industry.

・A proactive and self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
