ADAS Technical Product Manager
■ Company Overview
A global mobility technology organization developing advanced automated driving and parking solutions. The team works in a highly international R&D environment, collaborating with global system architect teams to deliver safe, scalable, and standardized ADAS products.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead ADAS product development from a technical perspective, covering system architecture and requirements management
- Define and manage R&D schedules and budgets in line with product and business goals
- Monitor progress toward milestones and proactively resolve technical and project issues
- Facilitate daily meetings and task forces to ensure alignment across teams
- Conduct cross-functional design reviews with internal stakeholders such as purchasing and manufacturing
- Serve as the key technical interface with customers and deploy technical requirements internally
- Manage and coordinate R&D contributors across software, hardware, and mechanical domains
- Design, optimize, and standardize system architectures in collaboration with global architect teams
- Break down system-level requirements and allocate them to appropriate engineering disciplines
■ Experience and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading system development projects in the automotive industry
- Proven experience in technical leadership and team management
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Ability to lead system-level discussions covering software, hardware, and mechatronics
- Business to advanced level proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Professional background within automotive product development environments
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a System Architect for automotive or ADAS products
- Deep understanding of system architecture design and standardization
- Experience working in global development organizations
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills
