■ Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end system validation activities for radar and ultrasonic sensor-based ADAS/AD functions
- Define, execute, and maintain the system validation strategy and roadmap
- Perform system-level validation, integration testing, and debugging
- Act as technical owner of the validation domain and guide validation engineers
- Collaborate closely with development, integration, and quality teams
- Manage project progress, risks, customer reporting, and issue resolution
- Ensure quality, milestones, KPIs, and deliverables are achieved
■ Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years of system validation experience in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of radar and ultrasonic sensor principles, limitations, and performance characteristics
- Experience applying signal processing, object detection, tracking, and classification concepts
- Hands-on understanding of ADAS / autonomous driving system validation
- Knowledge of in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, etc.)
- Business to advanced level proficiency in both Japanese and English
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of V-model and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with test automation using Python, CAPL, or Robot Framework
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, or ETAS
- Knowledge of functional safety and quality standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience working with global OEMs or Tier-1 automotive suppliers
