Excellent Opportunity for a Product Manager - AI in Japan!

 

■ Product Manager-  AI

 

■ Company Overview

An e-commerce, fintech, digital content and communications company with more than 30,000 employees, and operations in 30 countries and regions.

 

■ Your Role and Responsibilities
● Develop and communicate a bold product vision and roadmap for generative AI features and agent-based applications.

● Identify high-impact use cases for LLMs and define product strategies to address them.

● Lead end-to-end product development for AI-driven features - from concept and requirements through launch and iteration.

● Translate abstract AI capabilities (e.g., GPT-based agents) into concrete product requirements.

● Partner with LLM researchers, ML engineers, and designers on a daily basis to build and improve the product.

● Act as the bridge between the technical AI team and other stakeholders

● Oversee the quality and reliability of AI features. Work with the AI teams to conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of LLM outputs.

 

■ Experience and Qualifications
● 5+ years of product management experience, including a track record of delivering successful AI/ML-powered products or features.

● Strong understanding of machine learning and AI concepts, the LLM ecosystem.

● Familiarity with modern NLP and generative AI techniques; comfortable discussing model capabilities, limitations, and evaluation.

● Highly analytical and comfortable with data-driven decision making.

●Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts in simple terms for diverse stakeholders.

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

● Prior experience specifically with LLM-based products and familiarity with LLMOps and AI model evaluation techniques.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
