Systems Engineer & Onsite Technical Coordinator (Motor & Inverter Development)

Operating within the Technology Business Unit (TBU), the team bridges technical development between Japan and India hubs to design state-of-the-art electric outboard motors and inverters for cutting-edge marine applications.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Based directly at the customer's location, you will act as the key on-site technical representative negotiating with the OEM. Your primary focus will be translating complex OEM product requirements into actionable engineering goals, leading technical design reviews, executing product FMEA, and guiding cross-functional Tier-1 and supplier engineering groups (motor, hardware, and software) to optimize motor efficiency and drive-unit performance.
■ Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of robust engineering experience within the Automotive or Marine domain.
- Proven experience handling direct technical discussions and design reviews with Japanese automotive or marine OEMs.
- Solid grasp of requirement management, hardware simulation, and product FMEA methodologies.
- Conversational Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 level).
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink and magnetic simulation tools.
- Demonstrated ability in project progress monitoring and cross-functional team coordination.
- Prior experience managing suppliers or distributed technical teams across borders (Japan/India).
