System Hardware Engineer

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

Act as the core technical liaison bridging Japanese customer engineering teams, global R&D centers, and manufacturing sites throughout the full product lifecycle. You will drive hardware specification alignments, conduct schematic reviews, perform hands-on PCB reworking and circuit debugging, author development documentation (DRBFM), and lead cross-functional risk mitigation across software, systems, mechanical, and quality teams.

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in circuit design, hardware evaluation, and electronic component development.
  • Foundational knowledge spanning electrical/electronic engineering and mechanical concepts.
  • Practical skills in soldering, PCB modifications, and hardware debugging.
  • Strong technical English proficiency (reading, writing, and technical correspondence with offshore teams).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record working directly with Japanese automotive OEMs.
  • Direct experience designing automotive display systems, instrument clusters, or in-vehicle infotainment (IVI).
  • Familiarity with structured automotive development methodologies (DRBFM, FMEA, Design Reviews).
  • Proactive, self-motivated problem solver with strong stakeholder management abilities.
