■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

● As a core member of the management team, you will hold ultimate technical responsibility for increasing the value of our portfolio companies.

Specifically, you will:

● Report directly to the two Co-CEOs and serve as a permanent member of the Management Committee. You will inject a technical perspective into investment decisions, PMI (Post-Merger Integration) design, budgeting, and organizational structuring.

● Participate in deals right from the Due Diligence (DD) phase. Prior to an acquisition, you will evaluate operational efficiency opportunities and AI compatibility, standing alongside the Co-CEOs to assess the viability of post-acquisition value creation.

● Lead operational redesign and AI implementation post-acquisition by splitting your time between hands-on, on-site immersion at portfolio companies and company headquarters. You will be responsible for ensuring that operational improvements actually materialize on the ground.

● Build the company Internal Tools; repository as an institutional asset, extracting reusable components from individual projects to scale horizontally across multiple portfolios.

● Direct Reporting to Co-CEOs: Tech roles with permanent seats on the Management Committee are exceptionally rare in Japanese PE funds and corporate landscapes.

● Pioneer Hire: As the first member of the FDE team, you will build the engineering organization from scratch, defining internal asset standards, hiring benchmarks, and evaluation systems.

● Cross-Cutting Impact: Rather than optimizing a single company, you bring technical capabilities and strategic judgment that scale horizontally across the entire portfolio.

● An Environment That Values the Choice “Not to Use AI”: We deeply value the integrity and judgment required to honestly tell a client,  “This specific process should not be automated with AI.”

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Experience with vibe coding and quality control using generative AI is required.

● Tool experience: Experience using no-code/low-code tools (Make, Glide, Retool, Notion, Airtable, Dify, etc.)

● Basic knowledge of AI application infrastructure such as RAG/LLM/API

● Basic technical understanding of JSON, spreadsheet functions, and Google Apps Script.

● Experience in design/UI adjustment (Figma, STUDIO, etc.)

● Experience in automation and in-house development projects (e.g., building business improvement tools)

● Experience leading the launch of a new product and putting it on a growth trajectory.

● Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering

● Product development experience for SaaS products or large-scale systems.

● Understanding of natural language processing technologies such as GPT, Lambda, and BERT

● Knowledge and practical experience in Generative AI and Transformer models.
