Lead Satellite GNC Systems Engineer

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

(Upon Employment) Lead the satellite Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) development team from design through verification. You will be responsible for creating control algorithms for complex rendezvous and docking operations, defining GNC hardware and software architectures, and contributing to overall mission success. Additionally, you will support equipment procurement and mentor team members.

(Scope of any potential changes) Duties as defined by the company

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

Over 5 years of hands-on experience in AOCS/GNC systems engineering for spacecraft missions.Proven experience in developing algorithms and control laws with tools like MATLAB, and implementing them into flight software.Strong background in GNC hardware and software architectural design and trade-off analysis.Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 700+).

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience in AOCS/GNC systems engineering.Direct experience with rendezvous, proximity operations (RPO), and docking algorithms.Experience in on-orbit satellite operations and advanced non-linear control law design.Knowledge of GNC sensors (e.g., cameras, IR, LiDAR) and safety-critical system design for collision avoidance.Familiarity with active debris removal (ADR) or similar RPO missions.
