Global Sourcing and Procurement Services is looking for a diverse team of talented people who support our culture of collaboration and innovation.

A key aspect of this role is building collaborative relationships with our internal business partners, as well as relationships with suppliers.

This position will actively manage multiple highly visible, time‐sensitive activities, effectively interfacing with mid‐level management, and efficiently ensuring the sourcing process is completely consistent with the company's policies and goals.

The Category Sourcing Manager will partner with Business Partners, contract managers and Legal teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to developing and executing category strategy, objectives, and plans; negotiate and complete key strategic deals, and drive aspects of complex strategic sourcing process for assigned categories.

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

●Support all aspects of sourcing processes for assigned categories, including contract negotiations, RFx, and working with internal stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies and plans

●Support standardized contracts, processes, and systems, including supplier selection criteria, due diligence, performance metrics, and reporting

●Perform cost-benefit and financial analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

●Manage supplier relationships for PO execution, including handling issues and schedule changes

●Participate in cross-functional sourcing projects to define requirements, support supplier selection, and work with legal on contract documents (SOWs, LOAs, RFPs, etc.)

●Build strong relationships with business stakeholders

●Apply sourcing policies, act as an interface between suppliers and business teams, and ensure procurement ethics aligned with global policies

●Assess supplier performance to ensure contractual obligations are met and quality services are delivered   

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

●Bachelor's Degree, Business English skill both Writing and Speaking (TOEIC score 800+ is preferred)

●3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing in IT Category (category management, benchmarking, TCO (cost models), RFx, etc.) or have experience in IT Department as IT Infrastructure related manager.

●Uses technical experience and analytical thinking

●Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed

●Ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills

●Self-motivated

●Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively

●Extremely customer-focused, taking the time to understand the needs of the business

●Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker

●Japanese fluency and Business level English
