■ Your Role and Responsibilities

● We are seeking a System Validation Leader for radar and ultrasonic sensor technologies used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) functions. This role leads the full validation lifecycle—from strategy planning through execution, evaluation, and issue resolution—ensuring high-quality system delivery in collaboration with development, integration, and quality teams.

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,  Mechatronics, or related field

● Minimum 5 years of system validation experience in the automotive industry

● Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English

● Strong understanding of radar and ultrasonic sensor principles, limitations, and performance metrics

● Applied knowledge of signal processing, object detection, tracking, and classification

● Experience translating sensor outputs into system-level ADAS/AD functions

● Familiarity with in-vehicle communication protocols including LIN, CAN, CAN FD, ● Ethernet, SPI, Daisy Chain, and Point-to-Point 

● Develop and manage the system validation roadmap

● Execute system-level validation and debugging

● Lead validation engineers as the technical owner

● Collaborate with development, integration, and quality teams

● Manage customer reporting, risk mitigation, and issue resolution

● Track progress across milestones, KPIs, and deliverables

● Ensure quality assurance throughout the validation lifecycle

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

● Strong communication skills: able to summarize conversations, catch up on unclear points, relay info to team
● Experience with ADAS or autonomous driving validation frameworks

● Familiarity with V-model and Agile development methodologies

● Test automation using Python, CAPL, or Robot Framework

● Hands-on experience with validation tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, ETAS

● Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards

● Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

● Prior collaboration with global OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
