■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

• End-to-end responsible for software and data quality assurance. 
• Experienced working on various testing strategies (be it automated test or manual test) to validate software functionality and performance, data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Effectively report defects for test failures, and assist peers, and developers in triaging the test failures.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes through innovation and collaboration, automation and data-driven insights to enhance software quality and reliability

■ Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation, with a strong background in designing and implementing test automation for micro-service architecture.

• Strong background in API testing, demonstrating the ability to design and execute comprehensive test scenarios to validate API functionality and performance.

• Experience in test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured and mock tools such as mockito, testcontainers.

• Good working knowledge of Linux commands and scripting.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker, applying these containerization and orchestration tools for test automation.

• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (like Jenkins), integrating test automation seamlessly into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing methodologies and tools like JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or LoadRunner, including the ability to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for scalable and high-performance systems.
• Experience in managing black-box and white-box testing.
• Experience in quality assurance in Search/E-commerce domain.
• Experience in creating test plans.
• Proven record to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
