■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

(Upon Employment)

• Perform hands-on tasks for daily activities while proposing and implementing solutions for improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with local and global counterparts to plan and execute various Information Security activities.

Key Focus Areas:

• Lead the application security program, a high-priority KPI for the IT department, including overseeing application vulnerability testing and ensuring responsible application teams develop and execute remediation plans.
• Serve as the primary contact for application teams and external testing partners, managing application vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute an application security awareness program, emphasizing secure coding practices.
• Advocate for a “shift-left” approach by implementing security measures early in the application development lifecycle, including governing threat analysis processes.
• Oversee the monitoring and tracking of cloud and IT infrastructure vulnerability remediations.
• Manage the Web Application Firewall platform, including onboarding new applications.

■ Experience and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of practical, hands-on experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in or a strong passion for the Information Security field.
• Proficiency in English (intermediate level for reading and writing; conversational level for listening and speaking) and advanced proficiency in Japanese.
• Strong ability to create clear and accurate reports tailored to different audiences and deliver effective oral presentations.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on new IT technologies and Information Security trends.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST CSF and PCI DSS.
• Experience in or strong interest in the financial industry, particularly in life insurance.
