■ Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall development and operation of an Android app. The app offers features tailored to meet the needs of sole proprietors, including tools for starting their business, managing their accounting, and filing taxes. We are seeking a professional to develop integration features with personal finance and other related services to enhance the app's value for sole proprietors. This role also involves reviewing and optimizing the app's architecture and implementing improvements to the development process. While knowledge of accounting is helpful, our team includes numerous domain experts, such as tax and accounting professionals, who will provide support to help you quickly acclimate.
[Daily Responsibilities]
Design and develop our Android app to enhance its value for users.
Maximize team performance through process and workflow improvements.
Propose and implement enhancements using data analysis and hypothesis validation through log reviews.
Select appropriate technologies and design architecture to adapt to changing requirements.

Daily progress tracking and mutual support through Kanban.
Regular team retrospectives and KPT (Keep, Problem, Try) exercises.
Ongoing refinement of features that indirectly contribute to overall KPIs.
■ Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an Android app developer (6 years preferred).
Proficiency in Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines.
Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.
Experience in implementing design patterns like MVVM.
Practical experience in code reviews.
English: Fluent in both written and spoken communication.
Japanese: Not required.
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing iOS applications or web-based software.
Hands-on experience in creating Web APIs.
Knowledge of GraphQL.
Understanding of Material Design principles.
Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and designing testing strategies.
Practical exposure to team-based development practices such as Scrum or other agile methodologies.
Fluency in Japanese.
