■ Your Job Title: Automation Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

As a QA specialist focused on test automation, you will ensure product development quality through the following responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and maintain automated test strategies.
• Automate tests and QA tasks, ensuring smooth integration with development teams.
• Analyze test results, report findings, and propose process improvements.
• Manage the QA team and enhance test efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness.
• Recommend and implement tools and technologies to improve product development quality.

■ Experience and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience maintaining automated test cases for mobile apps, web apps, or APIs.
• Proficiency with frameworks/tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Rest Assured.
• Hands-on experience with E2E test automation and API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitrise.
• Strong communication, documentation, and software testing skills.
• Ability to identify process challenges and propose improvements.
• Effective collaboration with development teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning in QA and new technologies.

※ Please note that a coding challenge is a mandatory part of the QA selection process.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing in Agile environments.
• Native-level Japanese or JLPT N1 (or equivalent) proficiency (non Japanese speakers are welcome to apply, however please note that Japanese speakers may be prioritized)
• Proficiency with Cucumber for test cases.
• Coding experience in web or mobile app development.
• Background in test automation for the credit card or financial industry.
• Experience managing in-house services.
• Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Development experience with AWS.

 ■ Other Points and Working Conditions

• This is a full-time position
• If you are not currently a resident of Japan, you must relocate to Japan, but you can live anywhere in Japan and work fully remotely if you wish
• Super flex working hours 
• Holidays: Weekends, Japanese national holidays, New Year's holidays and special company holidays
• Leave allowance: annual paid leave and other forms of paid leave
• Non-salary benefits: Japanese social insurances, Japanese 401K, language learning support, visa sponsorship, relocation support

■ Work Location

If you do not live in Japan currently, relocation to Japan is a must requirement for this position, and visa and relocation support will be provided. Of course there are offices, but you can live anywhere in Japan you like and work fully remotely if that's your vibe!

■ Salary 

Usually in the ￥7,000,000 - ￥9,000,000 range (Japanese Yen, per annum)
