ADAS Evaluation Specialist in Japan

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

● Plan and conduct driving tests for autonomous driving and ADAS-equipped vehicles in various environments across Japan and overseas.

● Monitor vehicle behavior during test runs, identify anomalies, and document performance metrics.

● Perform real-time and post-test analysis to visualize results and assess system functionality.

● Debug software components based on observed issues and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes.

● Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying factors contributing to system failures or inconsistencies. 

 

■ Experience and Qualifications 

● At least three years of experience in the development, testing, or validation of autonomous driving or ADAS technologies.

● Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:

● Real-world vehicle evaluation of ADAS systems, including hands-on driving and performance analysis.

● Data analysis and software debugging in the context of autonomous vehicle systems.

● Construction and operation of Hardware-in-the-Loop or Driver-in-the-Loop Simulation environments.

● Execution of ADAS testing using simulation platforms and real vehicles.

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications 

● Ability to evaluate system performance under challenging conditions and edge cases.

● Experience in identifying issues through detailed analysis and contributing to system improvements for mass production.

● Strong driving skills and experience in conducting subjective evaluations based on sensory feedback.
