Hiring Embedded Software Engineer in Japan

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

● Develop and maintain embedded software for automotive control units and sensors

● Integrate software with hardware platforms and perform debugging and validation

● Optimize code for performance, memory, and power efficiency

● Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test teams to ensure seamless integration

● Support software deployment and updates across development and production 

 

■ Experience and Qualifications 

● Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded system development

● Experience with RTOS (e.g., QNX, FreeRTOS) and microcontroller architectures

● Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C)

● Strong debugging skills using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

● Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications 

● Experience in automotive domains such as ADAS, telematics, or infotainment

● Exposure to model-based development and simulation tools

● Understanding of ISO 26262 and functional safety standards
