Senior AOCS Engineer

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 
  • Lead the design, analysis, and development of next-generation Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) for advanced satellite missions.
  • Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for precise attitude estimation, control mechanisms, and robust failsafe operations.
  • Collaborate with top-tier embedded software engineers to seamlessly integrate AOCS into our mission-critical flight software.
  • Conduct extensive testing through Model In the Loop Simulation (MILS), Hardware In the Loop Simulation (HILS), and satellite-level validation.
  • Be a key player in the satellite Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) process.
  • Leverage MATLAB/Simulink to model and optimize sensors, actuators, and physical components.
  • Support live launch campaigns and monitor critical satellite behaviors post-launch.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the future evolution of satellite control technologies.

■ Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Control, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and validating control systems for high-autonomy platforms (satellites, UAVs, autonomous vehicles, etc.).
  • Deep expertise in multibody dynamics, attitude kinematics, and energy conservation principles.
  • Advanced proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for control system modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with physical sensors and actuators in dynamic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a high-stakes engineering environment.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site testing and business meetings.
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Mastery of orbital mechanics and satellite dynamics.
  • Experience in spacecraft control algorithms and precision orbit determination.
  • Expertise in Kalman filtering, sensor fusion, and anomaly detection techniques.
  • Background in non-linear and optimal control theory.
  • Experience programming in C/C++ for real-time embedded applications.
