AD/ADAS Development – Vehicle Testing and HILS/DILS Construction

■ Responsibilities

  • Conduct AD/ADAS vehicle testing in Japan and abroad, including software debugging, root cause analysis, and data evaluation
  • Build and operate HILS (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and DILS (Driver-in-the-Loop) simulation environments
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and global research institutions

■ Required Technical Skills

  • Programming: C, C++, Python
  • Middleware: ROS, DDS
  • Operating Systems: QNX, Linux
  • Development Tools: AWS, Docker, Git

■ Required Experience

  • 3+ years in AD/ADAS development in at least one of the following:
    • Vehicle testing and data analysis of AD/ADAS systems
    • Building and operating HILS/DILS environments

■ Preferred Skills

  • Experience with perception and control algorithms for AD/ADAS
  • Real-world road testing in Japan or overseas, including evaluation of edge cases
  • Vehicle model development and control simulation for HILS
  • Strong driving skills and subjective (sensory) evaluation capabilities

■ Language Requirements

English: Business level
Japanese: Business level

An ADAS expert with practical experience in testing and validation, capable of evaluating vehicle behavior from the customer’s point of view, and constantly improving development processes.
