■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

• Define and execute test strategies and plans to ensure product quality.
• Collect, analyze, and report on test metrics to improve process efficiency.
• Enforce testing standards and oversee governance practices.
• Manage release cycles and ensure readiness for deployment.
• Handle end-to-end defect tracking and resolution.
• Embed QA activities in agile development cycles.
• Use Jira for tracking test cases, issues, and project progress.
• Lead, mentor, and coach QA team members.
• Review test documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain and secure relevant test data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align testing with requirements.

■ Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong command of test strategy, planning, and metrics.
• Familiarity with testing governance and compliance.
• Experience in the life insurance domain is highly valued.
• Expertise in defect management and agile methodologies.
• Skilled in Jira and related QA tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent).
