Senior Frontend Engineer

Since its establishment in the late 2010s, the Fukuoka development hub has grown into the company’s largest engineering base in Japan. The center specializes in building and maintaining core SaaS products for corporate clients. The company’s headquarters remain in Tokyo.

 

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intuitive, scalable web applications. You will work with a modern tech stack and contribute to both product features and the stability of our development environment.

 

■ Experience and Qualifications

  • Must currently reside in Japan.
  • Proficient in English at a business level, Japanese not required.

  • Professional experience in building and maintaining web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Hands-on development experience with component-based frameworks such as React or Vue

 

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in TypeScript

  • Experience working with GraphQL

  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest

  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles

  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards

  • Awareness of web performance optimization techniques

  • Experience configuring frontend build tools such as webpack

  • Background in Agile methodologies like Scrum

  • Contributions to open-source projects (OSS)

  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies or using AI-powered tools to enhance development workflows

Negotiable
