They are now seeking a Product Owner to lead embedded software initiatives in Japan.

■ Your Role and Responsibilities

(Upon Employment) Product Owner – Embedded Software

(Scope of any potential changes) Duties as defined by the company

• Lead backlog management for system/software/validation domains
• Coordinate agile delivery, work item planning, and sprint activities
• Track deliverables using RTC and vFIP, ensuring traceability
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on status, blockers, and quality
• Drive software release readiness and manage customer change requests
• Support resolution of technical issues across functional teams

■ Experience and Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in embedded software development (automotive preferred)
• Knowledge of digital cockpit products like Cluster/Infotainment
• Strong in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication
• Business-level Japanese and English required
• Experienced in problem-solving (8D, Fishbone, etc.) and process improvement

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Toyota
• Formal Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO)
• Agile project delivery experience
• Understanding of Android Auto/CarPlay certification and re-flash strategies
