The engineering organization is expanding its global team to build the next generation of cloud-based financial services.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, security engineers, QA engineers, and product teams to design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.

This role provides an opportunity to become a key member of a growing engineering organization and contribute to building modern cloud platforms from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure
• Develop infrastructure that enables smooth maintenance, patching, and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Design AWS infrastructure with regional-level fault tolerance
• Collaborate with security teams to build secure infrastructure
• Automate AWS deployments to enable faster delivery of cloud services
• Create self-service solutions that allow developers to easily provision AWS resources
• Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building AWS-based infrastructure solutions
• Experience managing production infrastructure for high-traffic and business-critical systems
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with production incident management and cross-functional collaboration
• Hands-on experience with AWS Compute, Storage, and Analytics services
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with cloud monitoring, detection, and response
• Experience with cloud infrastructure patching and upgrades
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Business-level English or Japanese (Native Japanese or JLPT N1 equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining 200+ servers or containers in a production cloud environment
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and improving RTO/RPO
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with cloud performance tuning and cost optimization
• Experience using or contributing to open-source tools
• Experience publishing technical articles, blogs, or papers
• Experience managing IT compliance and security risks
• Experience designing and building infrastructure in financial services or regulated industries
• Experience operating in-house products and services

• Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes + 1-hour break)
