Career Opportunity for Lead AI-Driven Application Development in Japan | Tokyo (Hybrid) !

■ Application Development Lead (Japanese Proficiency (Required) | English Preferred)

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

● Lead high-impact, business-critical applications in a global environment

● Work with cutting-edge AI tools like GitHub Copilot & Claude Code

● Collaborate with international teams and gain global exposure

● Strong career growth into senior leadership roles 

● Lead the development and management of critical applications including Data Warehouse (DWH), customer data management, contract inquiry data management, and agent data provisioning systems
● Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
● Drive adoption of generative AI technologies to enhance productivity and code quality

● Application Development Leadership:
Lead and manage contract inquiry and agent data provisioning applications
Ensure performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance

● Team Collaboration & Project Management:
Manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources

● Partner Vendor Management:
Work closely with India-based offshore vendors
Ensure quality delivery and smooth coordination

● Technology Innovation & AI Integration:
Implement AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
Promote modern development practices and innovation

● Technical Development:
Work with Java / COBOL / SQL
Design robust data management and integration solutions

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

● Japanese Proficiency (Required) | English Preferred

● Strong experience in Java / COBOL / SQL

● Experience with AI tools (preferred)

● 5+ years in application development

● 3+ years in leadership / project management

● Experience in data systems / DWH / enterprise applications (preferred)

● Experience managing offshore teams
