This position is responsible for overseeing cyber threat defense operations across the entire Nomura Group. As a key member of the team, you will be tasked with monitoring security alerts and incidents, providing initial analysis and response, and escalating issues as appropriate. A particular focus will be placed on countermeasures against electronic fraud, such as phishing, unauthorized fund transfers, and fraudulent activities. Through comprehensive log analysis and assessment, you will work proactively to prevent potential damage.
You will also play a central role in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat intelligence, thereby contributing to the detection of more sophisticated threats and enhancing the team’s incident response capabilities. Under the guidance of your manager, you will be engaged in a wide range of responsibilities, including managing the progress of related projects and tasks, as well as drafting and maintaining operational records and documentation. Furthermore, by collaborating with external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, you will help strengthen the security operations framework across the Group.

本ポジションは、野村グループ全体のサイバー脅威防衛における運用業務を担当します。
チームの一員として、セキュリティアラートやインシデントの監視、および初動対応、エスカレーションを行います。フィッシングなどの不正送金や不正利用といった電子的詐欺行為への対策に注力し、各種ログの分析やアセスメントを通じて被害の未然防止に取り組みます。
また、サイバー脅威インテリジェンスの収集・分析・展開を担い、より高度な脅威の検知やインシデント対応力の向上にも貢献します。マネージャーの指示のもと、関連するプロジェクトやタスクの進捗管理、運用記録の作成や文書化など、幅広い業務に携わっていただきます。加えて、規制当局など外部関係者とも連携しながら、グループのセキュリティ運用体制を強化していく役割を担います。

Mandatory：
At least 3 years of experience in monitoring security alerts and incidents (L2 response)
Experience using security monitoring/operations tools such as SIEM and EDR
Ability to handle and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills and teamwork
Basic PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Willingness to keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the cybersecurity field
Ability to work with a high sense of ethics
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
Possession of at least one information security-related qualification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Registered Information Security Specialist, etc.)

SIEMやEDRなどセキュリティ監視・運用ツールの利用経験
複数タスクやプロジェクトを同時に進行・管理できる能力
高いコミュニケーションスキルとチームワーク
Word、Excel、PowerPointなどの基本的なPCスキル
サイバーセキュリティ分野の最新動向や技術習得への意欲
高い倫理観を持って業務に取り組める方
ネイティブレベルの日本語およびビジネスレベルの英語力
情報セキュリティ関連資格（例：CISSP、CISM、CompTIA Security+、情報処理安全確保支援士 など）のいずれかを保有していること
Preferred：
SOC or security operations experience at a financial institution
Practical experience in anti-fraud measures such as phishing
Experience using IT service management tools such as ServiceNow
Technical analysis experience such as big data analysis, malware analysis, or dark web investigations
Experience in report creation and trend analysis utilizing data analytics
Work experience in the cyber threat intelligence field
