Career Opportunity for a QA Engineer in Japan!

■ Your Role and Responsibilities
● Design and maintain AI-driven test strategies where LLMs generate, refactor, and self-heal test suites for UI (React/TypeScript) and data-pipeline services.
● Develop reusable prompt libraries for test generation, log analysis, and root-cause identification to streamline QA processes.
● Implement shift-left and shift-right automation by combining contract-based API tests with AI-powered production anomaly detection.
● Benchmark and integrate emerging AI QA tools into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) through PoCs and continuous improvement.
● Review business and technical requirements using AI to flag ambiguities, develop AI-generated test plans, and maintain living documentation.
● Track and verify defects, leveraging AI for reproduction-step generation, log summarization, and publishing automated test-suite results.

■ Experience and Qualifications
●  Over 5 years of experience in Software QA for Web UI, RESTful APIs, and ETL/data pipeline products, with strong expertise in test automation and framework design.
● Skilled in leveraging AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools to accelerate test automation, code reviews, and overall QA efficiency.
● Hands-on experience in data validation for batch and stream processing across cloud platforms, with strong SQL proficiency for querying and analysis.
● Proficient in modern automation frameworks like Playwright + TypeScript, with deep knowledge of RESTful API testing, HTTP fundamentals, and secure test data management.
● Strong prompt engineering skills to translate test heuristics into effective LLM prompts and system messages for AI-assisted testing.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
● Experienced in building and integrating AI agents for autonomous test-case generation, self-healing, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and anomaly detection in production systems.
● Hands-on mobile testing experience on iOS and Android, including automation using tools like Appium, with exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
● Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization (Docker), and security, performance, and SLA stress testing.
● Familiar with QA management and analytics tools such as TestRail, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics.
