Career Opportunity for a Research Engineer: HCI in Japan!

■ Research Engineer: (Human-Computer Interaction)

■ Company Overview

Japan-based AI technology company developing advanced large-scale language models and next-generation AI platforms, focused on delivering innovative AI-driven products and competing with leading global AI players.

■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

● Development and evaluation of interactive systems utilizing generative AI models 

● Proof-of-concept testing and business application of developed systems 

● Contributing to our own products as an HCI expert

Conducting user experiments to evaluate generative AI products 

● Development of demonstration experiment systems 

● Returning the obtained results to business and leading the industry in HCI research x generative AI through papers, patents, and external presentations.

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Strong motivation and knowledge in the field of HCI-generated AI 

● Expertise in one of the following: HCI/frontend development/backend development/system operation/computer graphics/computer vision/machine learning 

● High coding ability (Python required) 

● Master's degree in information science or a similar field, or equivalent experience

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

● Research Engineer - Experience in continuous development participation in open source communities 

● Experience in developing and operating systems as part of a team, from proof-of-concept to production deployment 

● Experience presenting at international conferences in the HCI field

● Research Scientist; experience presenting papers at top international conferences such as HCI/CV/ML/Multimedia

● experience working in teams using software development platforms such as GitHub

● PhD in information science or a related field.
