■ Your Role and Responsibilities

● Client Japan is hiring Function Owners to lead the design and development of vehicle functions for “anSWer,” our autonomous driving product supporting next-generation mobility. You will oversee system design using data from multiple sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic), and collaborate with software and validation teams to ensure product quality and functional completeness across the V-model development cycle. This is a high-impact role involving technical leadership and decision-making that directly influences product success.

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Lead the design and development of functions for the “anSWer” autonomous driving system

● Manage system functionality integrating camera, radar, and ultrasonic technologies

● Define and update system requirements with full traceability to stakeholder needs

● Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and validation/testing teams

● Act as technical lead in customer meetings and real vehicle testing

● Define KPIs and performance indicators for each function and design measurement strategies

● Review and improve test strategies, environments, and test cases

● Ensure compliance with development processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

● Lead and support technical reviews with suppliers and cross-functional departments

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

● Experience in system engineering (ASPICE)

● Basic knowledge of embedded software and SoC (System-on-Chip)

● Familiarity with ISO 26262 (functional safety)

● Proven experience writing system requirements

● English: Business level or higher

● Japanese: Conversational level or higher (Business level required for OEM-facing role)
