System Project Quality Engineer
■ Company Overview
A global automotive technology organization developing advanced systems for next-generation mobility. The team works closely with international development and manufacturing sites to deliver high-quality, safety-critical products to major automotive customers.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be part of a new project focused on a complete advanced driver system, acting as a key interface between customers, global development teams, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
• Daily coordination and reporting with the project lead.
• Leading routine quality-related meetings to align on delivery and issue status.
• Organizing and facilitating regular QA discussions with manufacturing sites and customers.
• Managing product quality activities and inspection events across each project phase.
• Preparing and maintaining quality documentation aligned with APQP and PPAP requirements.
• Updating delivery checklists based on defect trends and sharing them with relevant teams.
• Investigating returned parts and reporting findings to customers.
After mass production launch, you will also support customer requirement deployment, initial sample validation, approval processes, change management (including software-related changes), and provide local support when required.
■ Experience and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in automotive electrical or electronic product development projects.
• Advanced business-level English for collaboration with overseas teams.
• Business-level Japanese communication skills.
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge or experience in software development.
• Familiarity with ADAS or related advanced automotive systems.
• Experience acting as a primary contact for Japanese OEM customers.
