■ Your Role and Responsibilities

The product and platform are centered around data. As we plan for the future, it’s crucial that we examine each component of our business architecture and infrastructure with a meticulous, critical perspective. You’ll play a key role in identifying and addressing core bottlenecks, developing new features, and optimizing, extending, or simplifying existing ones. This position also offers an opportunity to learn how to craft intuitive user experiences for complex products.

Your responsibilities will include working with colleagues across teams to build and enhance a range of services and features for both internal and external users:

• Single-page application for consumers: Initially a simple payments dashboard, this application is evolving into a comprehensive tool where consumers can review and manage an expanding suite of payment solutions.
• Merchant front-end experiences: Developing front-end interfaces that streamline the process for merchants to receive and manage payments, minimizing friction in online transactions and enhancing ease of use.
• Admin tool: This internal tool serves various teams, facilitating investigations and management of merchants, consumers, payments, charges, partners, and settlements. We are dedicated to improving efficiency through investment in these internal tools, each of which brings its own unique set of front-end engineering challenges.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product, design, infrastructure, and operations experts, to deliver thoughtful solutions. You will also be responsible for implementing monitoring and alerting systems to ensure accuracy, availability, and responsiveness of our services.

■ Experience and Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or possess equivalent experience.
• You enjoy crafting pixel-perfect, seamless UIs for both mobile platforms using React Native.
• You have experience with React.js.
• You’re skilled in leveraging native APIs for deep integrations on both iOS and Android platforms.
• You are familiar with native build tools like XCode and Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).
• You enjoy building UIs using modern tools such as ES6, React, Redux, Flow, and Webpack.
• You have experience in team-based software development and enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• You’re passionate about performance, accessibility, and API design.
• You thrive as a generalist, eager to solve problems and create great experiences for both internal and external users.
• You actively seek to improve user experiences, creating design proposals through wireframes, sketches, and mockups.
• You can connect various services and processes, even if you’re encountering them for the first time.
• You have high standards for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• You’re comfortable working in a large codebase with multiple stakeholders.
• You’re a continuous learner who embraces new challenges.

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

• You have experience designing user experiences for B2C products.
• You have worked with financial or payment products.
