■ Your Role and Responsibilities

● We are seeking a System Validation Leader for radar and ultrasonic sensor technologies used in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) functions. This role leads the full validation lifecycle—from strategy planning through execution, evaluation, and issue resolution—ensuring high-quality system delivery in collaboration with development, integration, and quality teams.

■ Experience and Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,  Mechatronics, or related field

● Minimum 5 years of system validation experience in the automotive industry

● Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English

● Strong understanding of radar and ultrasonic sensor principles, limitations, and performance metrics

● Applied knowledge of signal processing, object detection, tracking, and classification

● Experience translating sensor outputs into system-level ADAS/AD functions

● Familiarity with in-vehicle communication protocols including LIN, CAN, CAN FD, ● Ethernet, SPI, Daisy Chain, and Point-to-Point 

● Develop and manage the system validation roadmap

● Execute system-level validation and debugging

● Lead validation engineers as the technical owner

● Collaborate with development, integration, and quality teams

● Manage customer reporting, risk mitigation, and issue resolution

● Track progress across milestones, KPIs, and deliverables

● Ensure quality assurance throughout the validation lifecycle

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications

● Strong communication skills: able to summarize conversations, catch up on unclear points, relay info to team
● Experience with ADAS or autonomous driving validation frameworks

● Familiarity with V-model and Agile development methodologies

● Test automation using Python, CAPL, or Robot Framework

● Hands-on experience with validation tools such as CANoe, CANape, dSPACE, ETAS

● Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards

● Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

● Prior collaboration with global OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers

仕事内容

<構造系設計開発>
● 人工衛星の構造・機械系の設計および解析（有限要素モデリングを含む構造解析）を行う
● 衛星のコンフィグレーション設計（機器配置：衛星への機器の搭載位置を決めたり、衛星形状を決める）、質量特性解析（衛星の慣性モーメント、重心位置を解析）・管理
● 各機器の機械環境条件の解析（各機器への機械環境条件を提示）
● 構造設計の観点からコスト低減を考慮して、システムとしての最適化を行う
● ロケットと衛星との機械IF条件を調整
● 電気系と連携して、太陽電池パネルおよび保持展開機構の構造設計を行う
● 各機器の機械設計・評価・検証・試験等

<検証＞
● 振動試験・衝撃試験などの立案と試験の実施、又は取りまとめ
● 上記試験に必要な治具の設計と調達（外部企業への製造指示）

備考：衛星開発経験30年以上の技術者からの支援を受けながら、相談して人工衛星の構造機械設計の経験を積みたい、もしくは極めたい方を歓迎します！

● Japanese Native, with Automotive software experience

Understand customers project dynamics

a) Project Schedules & Changes

b) Technical specification changes

c) OEM requests and influence on planned activities

d) Lack of technical point clarity from Customer and/or OEM

● Able to clearly communicate with Customer and make both parties understand

● Must have technical and operational negotiation capability

● Person must be able to anticipate issues/surprises and take steps to mitigate

● Ensure customer satisfaction with actions and activities that reduce burden on customer engineers and managers

● Crisis & Risk Management – Identity project risks in advance and define mitigation plans.

● Monitor vehicle behavior during test runs, identify anomalies, and document performance metrics.

● Perform real-time and post-test analysis to visualize results and assess system functionality.

● Debug software components based on observed issues and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes.

● Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying factors contributing to system failures or inconsistencies. 

■ Experience and Qualifications 

● At least three years of experience in the development, testing, or validation of autonomous driving or ADAS technologies.

● Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:

● Real-world vehicle evaluation of ADAS systems, including hands-on driving and performance analysis.

● Data analysis and software debugging in the context of autonomous vehicle systems.

● Construction and operation of Hardware-in-the-Loop or Driver-in-the-Loop Simulation environments.

● Execution of ADAS testing using simulation platforms and real vehicles.
