■ Japan Security Engineering SME (English Fluent)

Join as a Security Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME), where you will play a key role in securing enterprise systems across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
You will work with advanced security tools and collaborate with global teams to protect critical systems, applications, and data across Japan and APAC regions.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
● Support and manage enterprise security stack (CrowdStrike, Tanium, Qualys, Imperva, Microsoft Defender, ProofPoint, etc.)
● Secure on-premise and cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
● Work across IaaS / PaaS / SaaS to ensure end-to-end security coverage
● Drive security architecture, vulnerability management, and network security
● Protect systems and data across cloud and hybrid environments
● Act as a key technical expert supporting security initiatives across Japan & APAC
● Act as a technical SME for deployment, management, and 24/7 (“Follow the Sun”) support of the security stack across on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
● Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding teams on threats, risks, and mitigation strategies while mentoring junior members
● Collaborate with security teams to identify, monitor, and resolve critical security risks across the IT environment
● Work with stakeholders to develop, enforce, and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
● Partner with architecture, engineering, remediation, and application teams to secure workloads and data across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid systems
● Support development and implementation of security standards and best practices for applications and infrastructure using cloud security solutions
■ Experience and Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
● Fluent English communication skills
● 12+ years of experience in on-premise and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
● 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security posture management, DevOps security, IaC automation, and compute agents
Technical Expertise:
● Strong understanding of cloud & hybrid environments (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS / IDaaS) and security tools
● Experience securing cloud-native environments (Kubernetes – AKS/EKS/GKS, Azure Functions) with agent/agentless solutions
● Knowledge of vulnerability analysis, threat detection, and exploitation techniques
● Expertise in infrastructure hardening (Windows & Linux), Active Directory, and OS security
● Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, HTTP), endpoint security, and incident response
● Experience with SIEM tools & integrations (CrowdStrike preferred)
Security Standards & Tools:
● Knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIG
● Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS, SOX
● Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Linux shell) preferred
● Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, Security+, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications are a plus
