Industrial Project Manager (PTM)

A global Tier-1 automotive supplier supporting major OEMs. This company is focused on sustainable mobility, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. The Ibaraki site is an advanced manufacturing facility at the forefront of automotive product development.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the industrialization of new automotive products from pre-serial phase to full production
- Manage project industrial schedules, resources, and budgets to meet launch targets
- Supervise all aspects of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including tooling, logistics, and procurement
- Act as the industrial representative in both internal and external meetings
- Develop, validate, and implement production processes with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with product engineering to ensure alignment in simultaneous engineering
- Oversee documentation related to process development
- Conduct pre-serial production trials to ensure a flawless customer start of production
- Participate in project reviews and escalate risks when needed
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards (including FMEA, control plans, etc.)
- Support the site’s Safety, Quality, and Environment policies
■ Experience and Qualifications
- Japanese language proficiency: N3 or above
- English: Business level proficiency
- Strong experience in schedule and budget management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control
- Familiarity with FMEA and risk management practices
- Strong reporting skills (reporting to site managers and clients)
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Full proficiency in FMEA and risk mitigation
- Japanese language proficiency: N2 preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
