■ Your Role and Responsibilities 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with proven expertise in PHP and Laravel framework development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems, proficiency in database management (including NoSQL), and a strong background in backend architecture design. 

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Implement and optimize database solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement containerization and ensure scalability and reliability of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, production deployment, and troubleshooting sessions.
• Lead efforts to refactor and modernize legacy applications into better architectural designs.
• Drive best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
• Help in mentoring junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.

■ Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of proven and recent professional experience in PHP.
• Expertise in Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding and experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong familiarity in working with Unix-based systems (terminal, shells, editors, scripts, etc.)
